Avante Optics Becomes First Certified Optical Laboratory in Arizona to Produce Products in the Chemistrie Lens Layer System

PHOENIX, Arizona (October 17, 2011) Optical labs are the primary distributor of Chemistrie products andarerequired to undergo a training andcertification process for both the production and selling of the Chemistrie. Eyenovate, Inc. has certified several optical laboratories nationwide toproduce products in the Chemistrie Lens Layer System. Avante is proud to bethe first Eyenavision certified lab in Arizona!

Chemistrie is a patented lens layering system that utilizes magnets embedded in the lenses of prescriptioneyewear to attach lenses for readers, sun protection, and passive 3-D.  Chemistrie is significant breakthrough over previous generation clip-on sunglasses.  Because of the precise fit, Chemistrie wearers appear to be wearing sunglasses rather than clip on lenses.  Specific improvements over old clip-on technology include: 

• Lenses are edged to match the exact shape of the prescription lenses and are cutsom made to fit almost every frame. 
• Chemistrie is offered in multiple base curves to match the curvature of the prescription lens providing a tight fit and reduced glare.
• The lenses are edged to a .8mm edge thickness, rimless and attached using a lightweight titanium bridge.
• High quality polarized lenses are available in 24 sunlense colors including 8 mirrors, 8 gradients, and 8 solids.  
• Reader lenses are available in powers of +.5, +.75, +1.00, +1.25 and +1.50.
• 3D lenses decode circular polarization commonly used in theatres and television sets utilizing passive 3D technology.
